My life right now consists of staying home day in and day out with my son. I have to admit, I love spending as much time with him as possible even when he is crying at the top of his lungs.
However, I find myself trying to find stuff to do. All my friends and family work during the day so I spend time alone. I find myself having most of my conversations with a one month old... who by the way is allergic to milk (I found out Sunday night in a emergency trip to the urgent care).
You would think that soy milk and cows milk would taste completely different, but my son sure doesn't think so. I must say, they do look different.
Anyway- Back to what I was saying... Since everyone works during the week I try to entertain myself. One of the ways I do that is blogging. Then comes the weekend. This is when my friends and family are home. So I try to make every attempt to get out of the house and do something (If I don't leave the confinement of my home I go NUTS). It seems to me that everyone is busy or has other plans during the weekend... so I spend time with my son and wonderful husband (however, I am still at home)... We find ourselves going to my moms house a lot, because she is usually home and not to busy for our company.
Many people say that staying home all day every day is great! While I would love to stay home and raise my son without worrying about having to pay bills, I would, but I can not stay home every day all day. I guess its time for a new hobby that would include a one month old.
That must have been scary going to the ER! But I am glad everything is okay. If you ever want to come to our house you are always welcome! ;) Even though we live in the boonies :)
