So Beautiful

It truly was the most beautiful burial I have ever seen. My Grandfather received full military honors for his funeral and burial. The local VFW did a 21 gun solute and a bag pipper was there as well.

He was truly a hero if I have ever met one. Most honorable and hard working man to ever walk this earth. He truly lived his life for Christ and I have no doubt in my mind that he has his angel wings now.

RIP-Happy Birthday

He went home to be with the Lord yesterday morning. My Grandmother was there with him. Please pray for my family and I that we find peace through this difficult time. Today would have been his 85th birthday.

Traveling Alone

I have been to Washington DC twice, but never alone. Wish me luck, I am going for work, and I am going alone. I am nervous. I will miss my son. The longest I have been apart from him is two days. Pray for me that I get comfortable with traveling alone. I wont be blogging until after April 10th. See you then.
